Does any know what type of insect that loves wet places and is carry to and from places on rodents?

I have a dwarf hamster and she has bit throuh her water bottle wicth made her cage and beding wet. I change her beding and clean the cage after I found ot that there were wihite round and small insects living in her cage. They are so small that you can hardly see them and they are making her ich. So if any one knows what these bugs are please answer.Does any know what type of insect that loves wet places and is carry to and from places on rodents?
I can't remember the exact name but most people call them wood fleas. They come in sometimes with wood shavings. My piggies get them once in a while. Go to the pet store and get , 8 in 1 small animal spray. Follow the directions being careful to keep it out of the eyes. Clean out the cage, spray the bottom and let it dry and put in new bedding.

Care fresh paper bedding is bug free. Aspen chips and Care Free are the best rodent bedding.Does any know what type of insect that loves wet places and is carry to and from places on rodents?
might be mites.
They could be maggots. But I am not sure. What you need to do is to take the cage outside and spray it out completely. Wash it out with a warm soapy water and rinse it really well. Then take a bleach and water mixture and clean it out again. This will kill any bacteria and bugs. Make sure that you rinse it out very well. Then put fresh bedding. As a precaution, I would buy new bedding and throw out the stuff that you have now. The bugs may very well be in there.
probably mites or white flies. call your vet.
