How do you stop rodents from climbing fruit trees? Is there a wrap you can use around the bark of the tree?

Put a aluminum band 6 feet up the tree. They could jump from nearby trees though. How do you stop rodents from climbing fruit trees? Is there a wrap you can use around the bark of the tree?
You can use aluminum duct pipe (depending on the diameter of the tree trunk). Wrap it around the trunk and secure it. You can also buy plastic for this purpose. Both are slippery and will not allow claws to get a grip. These work for squirrels also. How do you stop rodents from climbing fruit trees? Is there a wrap you can use around the bark of the tree?
Try using aluminum foil, put it around the perimeter of the tree trunk. They can't get good footing and won't be able to climb.
amputate their legs.
GET A CAT.UPON GETTING YOUR 'RAT SECURITY' CAT,MAKE SURE TO PLAY WITH YOUR CAT OFTEN.(USING MICE/CAT TOYS IS HELPFUL).MAKE SURE TO HAVE THE CAT AN INDOOR/OUTDOOR CAT. THEN,ONCE YOU HAVE GROWN ACCUSTOMED TO YOUR CAT,AND VICE VERSA,HE WILL JUST AUTOMATICALLY POUNCE/KILL RATS.TRY TO ADOPT THE CAT,PREFERABLY ONE WHICH IS AN ADULT.IT HAS ALWAYS WORKED FOR ME.THIS WILL GREATLY REDUCE ANY RODENT PROBLEM.DON'T WASTE TIME ,MONEY ON PESTICIDES.THEY DO NOT WORK,ONLY CAUSE HEALTH,ENVIROMENTAL PROBLEMS.
