Beside feeding live food like rodents or birds to Ball Python, what else can I feed my Ball Python?

My Ball Python is still juvenile (2 ft long).

I do not want to feed live living things to my snake. Anyone has any idea or experiences feeding non live to snakes?

Thanks.Beside feeding live food like rodents or birds to Ball Python, what else can I feed my Ball Python?
The Ball Python will typically eat mice when small, and mice, rats or gerbils when full grown. One feeding per week is sufficient.

The Ball Python is a notoriously difficult eater, especially if it has been captured in the wild. Many owners experience tremendous frustration in getting their pets to eat.

If at all possible, pre-killed mice are the preferable choice. These are available from most pet stores at a resoanble price, and can be had in a variety of sizes. Simply warm up the mouse to body temperature (100F), and place it in the terrarium. Don't handle the mouse with your hands, as your scent may confuse the snake.Beside feeding live food like rodents or birds to Ball Python, what else can I feed my Ball Python?
they only eat smaller rodents like hamsters, mice, rats, Guinea pigs, and things like that. if you dont like feeding live (i dont either for my snakes health) then you can try buying a frozen one and puttin it in warm water to thaw it out. once the mouse is warm, use a pair of tongs and make it wiggle in front of the snake. make it ';look'; alive. it may take a little while to get your bp over to frozen, or..she/he may not take frozen. i would try it and see what happens. i just got my other bp and i plan on puttin her on frozen (hopefully!)

and dont put the frozen one in the mic..it could burn your snake. and like someone else said, dont use your hands, use tongs. if she does not take it you can also try putting some tuna juice or chicken broth on the mouse to make it more intresting to the snake. good luck!
You can feed frozen/thawed rodents or. pre-killed rodents. Birds are not as nutritionally complete to feed as rodents are. In the wild, the more common and natural prey item for the ball python is an African rodent species called the geraboa.
if you feel bad for feeding live food for a snake you shouldn't have gotten one

i would say get a different pet
Frozen rodents.
