What is the best product for getting rid of mice and other household rodents?

Cat............if you don't have one, borrow one for a while. What is the best product for getting rid of mice and other household rodents?
ANTI FREEZE placed in jar lids where no one is in danger of injesting it ';children';! After they get a taste of it they will love it. It has a sweet taste to it. Be sure to close all drains and put the comode lids down so they can't get a drink. Anti Freeze thins the blood in them and they literally bleed to death. Dispose of the rodents where cats cannot get to them and injest this poison. What is the best product for getting rid of mice and other household rodents?
Well, chances are that if you EITHER have mice, or rats. Rats eat mice, so you have one or the other.

If you have pets or neighbors who have pets...poison is a bad idea. The rodent eats the poison...dies outside and the pet eats it, poisoning itself. The poison used (in my opinion) is pretty cruel anyway. It causes them to bleed internally until they die. Not very pleasant.

Standard snap traps are best because they're quick. They're nasty, but quick. You just have to buy the right size for the right rodent.
Stop feeding them! they would not be in your house in the first place if there wasnt easy access to food. cleaning the place. (not trying to insult) putting all food in plastic tupperware type containers. not in any under counter cabinets. putting poison pellets out only works when there is no other food. so do this after mouse proofing your food. do not allow eating in places other than the kitchen/dining room and clean up all spills and crumbs from your floors. when there no more new signs of activity find all places where they get in and out of your place and plug them holes.
those poison blocks. you can get them at home depot / lowes. the mice think its food so when they go to eat it they die, because it's really poison.
a gun
i had a herd of mice in my back yard and heard them in the house , they also ruined 2-3 stoves, got 2 cats and solved that problem. If you have big rats --a rat terrier. Roaches or ants boric acid and don't let humans or animals eat or breathe it in..carefully mix with jelly and put in 2 small containers and put way under the fridge and stove. Fleas-- sprinkle around eucalyptus oil
Cats??? IDK but i was once told that Bounce Fabric dryer sheets ward them away~ So put them ';around'; your house yanno? In the basement if you go them there kinda thing~ In hidden places you think you see them at!
use soap just throw a bar of soap where they are at they will eat the paper and then the soap and goodby mice and rats.leave the soap in the wraper u can see where they nibble at good luck (i use ivory)
a hammer ;D
Usually DCON works very well.Ive always had good luck with the poisons and stick traps .Usualy their in the kitchen area if you place them behind the stove, bottom of the sink, behind the fridge. They usualy like those spots the most and they always travel along the walls ,unfortantly mice travel in familys so there might be 1/2 a dozen if your lucky. If you wanted to bait them, use peanut butter, cheese really does not work. They also make electronic repellers they run from $15- $30 but im not sure how well they work to recommend.Good luck
mousetrap, sticky paper, a lot of noise, and a maze all of these are very common to get rid of your problem, hope that it helped and if it did choose me for best answer:)

No risk to your pets or your neighbor's pets. No poison, no bloody bodies, no squeeling mice with their feet glued to sticky pads, no mice or rats dead in your walls stinking to high heaven. If you use DECON poison, you run a very good risk of the rodents dying in your walls in three stages: Maggots, stench, swarming black flies.

The rats/mice crawl into an oblong box to retrieve tasty bait, step on a metal plate, are electrocuted, die instantly and humainly. You shake the rodent out.

Runs on batteries. I killed 8 rats in one night on one set of batteries.
A Cat (I can lend you one)

THE RAT ZAPPER. it cost around 40 bucks. but it works and you dont even have to see the rat. it has a red light on top the blinks when you have a kill. it also works on other small rodents
You should get a cat thats the best, my mom bought us a cat and ever since mice never rampaged the house again, a cat is the best tool to stop rodents.
Maybe if you have time, call the Exterminator
