Depends on what kind of animal they are. Poison peanuts for gofers, a water hose and a baseball bat for moles, Rat poison for rats, but be very careful not to put it where pets or children can get to it. Those large sticky traps work well on rats too. But if you've got coons or possums then try one of those live traps and bait it with sardines in oil. If thats the case, set the traps at night. my friend had a rat problem..we set out a bunch of bait (cat food, cheese, peanuts, peanut butter, etc) and sat around drinking beer with bb guns...that was a good day.
