Does anyone sell rodents (mice, hamsters, rats etc.) out of there home, rather than selling them to a pet store?

If so, what do you give the people to take them home in?Rather then cages, because obviosly that would get expensive.Does anyone sell rodents (mice, hamsters, rats etc.) out of there home, rather than selling them to a pet store?
When I raised gerbils, I used to require that the people buying from me had a travel carrier for their pet. They would need one anyway for trips to the vet. So it was never an issue of what to bring them home in. Small animal carriers can be plastic or fabric and range in price from $2.00 - $50.00 depending on how fancy they are.Does anyone sell rodents (mice, hamsters, rats etc.) out of there home, rather than selling them to a pet store?
At Petco they sell these small cradboard pet boxes.
