What if i grow vegetables in the city? will it attract rodents?

I'm not interest in the rural areas. I live in the city and my neighbor downstairs planted vegetables in our common area and I'm afraid it will attract rodents. What if i grow vegetables in the city? will it attract rodents?
It's likely that the garden will attract a variety of small animals like squirrels, mice, bunnies, etc. If you are concerned about any of these, consider talking to your neighbor about installing some natural deterrents.

I was a member of a community garden in the middle of Los Angeles. We grew vegetables galore, and we had little or no rodent problem. Rodents generally like what people like; and most people don't like veggies! :)
Have you no cats?I live 4 blocks from downtown Reno and we all have gardens here. Only 2 rodents in 6 years.Plenty of raccoons though.
